Eger, Hungary, will be the location for the 2014 IBSA Goalball European Championships Men & Women B.
 
Eger just finished hosting the 2013 IBSA Judo European Championships and will now turn their focus to the sport of goalball.
 
These championships will be held from 22 September 2014 until 29 September 2014.
 
The ten men’s teams who are eligible to compete are Ukraine, Slovenia, Sweden, Israel, Poland, Denmark, Russia, Italy, Portugal and naturally the hosts, Hungary.
 
On the women’s side, Hungary could be competing alongside nations such as Great Britain, Sweden, Denmark, Greece and The Netherlands. This is an open division and therefore is open to any European nation excluding the seven A division nations.
 
We at IBSA Goalball are sure that the local organizing committee will put everything into organizing a top class tournament and we are looking forward to the championships already.
