The IBSA Football Committee has opened a bidding process to organise the first ever under-23 blind football world championships next year.
As youth development is one of the committee's priorities, it has decided to put in place this new event on the IBSA competition calendar. The championships will be open to all under 23 players and provision will be made for teams to include overage players in their squad.
The committee would like to see the event held in March-April 2018.
Any IBSA member country interested in hosting the event should complete the application form above and submit it by July 30th 2017 to the IBSA Secretary General, Henk Van Aller, at [email protected].
For more information on the championships contact Ulrich Pfisterer, the chair of the IBSA Football Committee, at [email protected].
