Today, the preliminary round of the goalball competition for the 2018 Asian Para Games (Jakarta, Indonesia) ended, narrowing the field of 8 men's and 6 women's teams to 4 teams for each division.  Complete results of preliminary results can be found in our website's goalball results section.

Remaining teams will pair off tomorrow in semifinal matches to determine where they will fall for their final matches on 12 October.  Women's semifinal pairings include Japan versus Thailand and China versus Iran.  Men's semifinal parings will see China versus Japan and Iran versus Korea.
