Goalball: Here comes the time of no mistakes in Santiago 2023

The stage group of the Goalball tournament in the Para PanAmerican Games – Santiago 2023 is finished. With the quarterfinals comes the time of no mistakes because there is no more space to turn around.
On the last day of the stage group, no surprises came from the matches that were still missing for the final standings of the groups.
Starting with the last match of today, the men’s Brazil squad needed just the first half to end the match with Chile, the host national team (10-0). Spotlights on Parazinho with his six goals scored, helped by André Dantas (2), Leomon Moreno, and Emerson.
The Brazilian women’s team opened the day and defeated Mexico with four goals, all scored by Danielle Villas Longhini.
Still in the women’s competition, in the match between Canada and Chile, the North American team shined Emma-Leigh Reinke with eight of the 10 goals of her team.
