Goalball Europeans begin in Lithuania

Today sees the start of play at the 2015 IBSA Goalball European Championships Men & Women A in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Ten women's teams and ten men's teams will lock horns for the title of IBSA European Champions over the next four days in the lead up to the finals on Saturday afternoon. As well as the European title, slots for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games are also up for grabs.

Matches kick off today at 09:00 and will be played at the Sabonis Basketball Center and Kaunas Sports Hall. First on the mat are the Czech Republic and Slovenia in the men's tournament, and Finland against Denmark in the women's event.
