German Blind Football Bundesliga 2013 to kick off in April

This season’s German Blindenfussball Bundesliga is set to take place over several weekends stretching from April to September.
The league is organised by the German Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted (www.dbsv.org) in cooperation with the National Paralympic Committee of Germany (www.dbs-npc.de) and the Sepp-Herberger-Fundation.
The season will see nine teams competing for the top spot, up from eight clubs in last year’s competition. The teams are: Berlin/Braunschweig, Chemnitz, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg (St. Pauli), Köln/Düren, Marburg, Stuttgart and Würzburg.

1 13-14 April, Braunschweig
2 11-12 May, Hamburg
3 15 June, Regensburg
4 6-7 July, Düren
5 24 August, Soest
6 4 September, Stuttgart
The season will come to a close with an indoor tournament in December in Kaiserslautern.
