Brazil’s men’s blind football national team finally got into action this Wednesday, and it wasn’t easy for the current world champions to win. The victory against Iran (1-0), with a goal scored by Cassio just before the break, was enough to seal the first three points for the green and yellow squad!
Day 3 of the 2023 IBSA World Games that are taking place in Birmingham, all around the University of Birmingham campus, was again devoted to Football, for men and women, but also the kickoff for the Partially Sighted Football competition.
The day started with the women’s matches, but only group B was on the Bournbrook pitch. The bat girls from Argentina are unstoppable and got the same result as in the first round, this time against India (4-0). Germany tied Austria, and both teams are still looking for some goals in the tournament.
