Twenty-five coaches from fifteen European countries gathered last weekend in Sanremo in Northern Italy for three-day seminars on B2-B3 futsal. The seminars were held as part of the UEFA-funded IBSA Futsal Development Project Europe.

Hosted by IBSA and local partner FISPIC, the Italian Sports Federation for the Blind and Partially Sighted, the seminars were attended by coaches from France, Italy, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Belarus, Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Moldova, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Spain and Serbia.

Following presentations on IBSA, the IBSA Futsal Development Project Europe and B2-B3 futsal on the Friday evening, the action moved to a nearby pitch for practical sessions involving local players on the Saturday.

Anatol Usenka (Belarus national coach, IBSA B2-B3 World and European Champions), Charlie Simo (French national coach), Ulrich Pfisterer (German national coach) and Vincenzo Antonelli (Italian national coach) were on hand to teach participants how to coach partially sighted players in technical, tactical, team and individual skills.
