According to figures from the local organising committee, eight national blind football teams (B1 category for the totally blind) are to take part in next month's 9th IBSA European Blind Football Championships.

With first entries now in and second entries due to close in a couple of days, organisers have confirmed that the following nations will play:

Italy
Germany
Great Britain
Spain
Turkey
Greece
Russia
France

The championships will take place in Loano, Italy, from June 12th to June 23rd. The event is hosted by FISPIC, the Italian Paralympic Sport Federation for the Blind and Partially Sighted.
