The Goalball committee has published the preliminary match schedule for the IBSA Goalball Asia/Pacific Championships, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 19th to 27th August.

Six female teams – Australia, China, Iran, Korea, Japan and Thailand – and eight male teams – Australia, China, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea and Thailand – are in the running for the continental titles and a slot at the IBSA Goalball World Championships in Sweden in 2018.
