The 2016 IBSA Goalball Africa Regional Championships has reached the halfway point. The top 4 men's teams that will move to the semifinal round have been determined and will play those matches later tomorrow.
Moving to the men's next round are: Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. The women's field will also narrow tomorrow when the women's pool play concludes.

Morocco 14 – Cote d'Ivoire 4;
Algeria 12 – Tunisia 2;
Women:
Algeria 12 – Morocco 2;
Egypt 10 – Tunisia 0;
Egypt 11 – Morrocco 4.
