Further information about these topics will be sent to the membership in the coming months.

Jannie Hammershoi, IBSA President, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the IBSA membership to Fort Wayne in July where our direction for the next five years will be debated and decided.

“The General Assembly is always a great gathering of key figures from within sports for athletes with visual impairments. I hope to welcome all of our members for what I am sure will be a productive and enjoyable few days hosted by USABA.”

The 2019 IBSA General Assembly will be the 11th edition of the event which is held every two years.

The last meeting was held in 2017 in Cluj Napoca, Romania, where the current Executive Committee was also elected.

The 2019 IBSA Goalball and Judo International Qualifier will open on 2 July. Goalball will get underway straight away, followed by three days of judo action from 4-6 July.
