The fans truly got to witness a great match in the men's final game between China and Thailand. After regulation play and the first overtime period ended, the two teams were deadlocked. With only a minute remaining in the second overtime period, China was able to penetrate the Thailand defense, winning the match 11-10 and earning the men's gold medal.
Not to be outdone by their men's team, the Chinese women finished their tournament in a match against Iran. Although the Iranian women played well, they were no match for the Chinese women who won the game and the gold medal by a final score of 13-3.
