The IBSA Chess Sport Committee is particularly pleased to announce that Montenegro will host the 3rd IBSA World Individual Chess Championship.

The Paralympic Committee of Montenegro is pleased to welcome all chess players from around the world to the city of Petrovac at the Palas Hotel between October 25, 2024 (arrival) and November 4, 2024 (departure).

Considering that this competition will take place after the Paralympic Games, it is expected that a considerable number of countries will be able to send athletes to this competition.

As a reminder, the winner of the last IBSA chess competition at the 2023 IBSA World Games in Birmingham, UK, was Romanian Fide Master Mihail-Dacian Pribeanu.
