Brazil and Argentina to meet in Parapan blind football final

World and Paralympic Champions Brazil and IBSA World Games champions Argentina will come face to face again later today in the final of the blind football competition at the Toronto 2015 Parapan American Games.

Brazil topped the table after the round-robin stage of the competition on 13 points and with a goal difference of +17. They finished the group stage without conceding a goal.

Argentina came second on 11 points and also remain unbeaten on three wins and two draws.

The final kicks off at 18:00 local time.

The bronze medal match at 16:00 will feature Colombia (8 points in the group) and Mexico (6 points), with the added incentive of a slot at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games at stake.

Uruguay (2 points) and Chile (1 point) completed the competition in fifth and sixth place respectively.
