Blind Futsal features at Louise Braille festival in Berlin.

Blind futsal, shooting, showdown and chess will feature at the Louise Braille Festival in the German capital from June 1st to June 3rd.

The festival involves a wide range of cultural and sports events for the blind and partially sighted spread over three days.

With support from the German Institute of the Blind, the first ever B2-B3 (partially sighted) football tournament in Germany will take place. The event is for youth players.

 
In addition, the German national B1 team will take on the Turkish national team at 13:00 on Saturday June 1st, followed by a match between Berlin and a Polish team from Wroclaw. The Poles are preparing for the showcase blind futsal match against at the quarter final of Uefa EURO2012 on June 22nd in Gdansk.
 
Showdown, shooting for the blind and chess are also part of the programme for the weekend.
