Category: Blind football

The 2022 IBSA Blind Football World Grand Prix kick-off at La Madriguera came with an unquestionable victory for the five-time Paralympic champions Brazil against India. Ricardinho was the star of the match, scoring the first two goals of competition in the 4-0 final result. Cassio Reis and Maycon scored the other two goals.

In the second match of Day 1, the host national team, Mexico, got the same result (4-0) against Costa Rica in a very enthusiastic environment from the bench. Gerardo Soteldo opened the score, but Francisco Rangel walked the same path as Ricardinho and scored the next goals. Édgar Carrillo closed the score. The Mexican goalkeeper, Alexis Montoya, defended a penalty in the second half to the joy of the crowd.

Today, the second day of competition, will be marked by the Latin American classic in all sports: Brazil will play against Argentina. The single argument needed not to miss the live stream on the IBSA YouTube channel!
