Blind football reaches Denmark

Date: May 26, 2017

Category: Football

IBSA Blind Football travels to Denmark this weekend to conduct an introductory training weekend for local players, coaches and volunteers.

Run by an experienced international blind football coach, the training sessions on Saturday and Sunday will focus on basic skills and the fundamental aspects of the game.

The training weekend is part of the IBSA Blind Football Development Project Europe, funded by UEFA, and follows on from a successful weekend earlier this year in Armenia, demonstrating the reach and popularity of the sport in Europe from north to south and east to west.

IBSA Blind Football has partnered with the Danish Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted as local partners and Copenhagen-based club BK Skjold, which will host the event.
