Blind Football: Knockout phase decided for women

Day 5 of the 2023 IBSA World Games, still only with football competition, with the two last matches of the stage group of the first Women’s Blind Football World Championship.
India against Germany and Austria against Argentina, both ending in null scorers, closed the first step of the way to the title. The final group stage standings can be checked below, but the knockout phase is already decided, which means that on Sunday (tomorrow is time for the women to rest) we will have England and Germany playing for the 7th place, Morocco and Austria playing for the 5th place, while the semi-finals will be between Japan vs India and Argentina vs Sweden.
In the men’s competition, Brazil suffered again to defeat Morocco (1-0), the match that was defining the first place of group D, while France vs Colombia and Mexico vs Iran ended both with a tie (1-1).
