Blind Football: Japan is the first women’s Asian champion

The women’s Japanese Blind Football national team is the first Asian champion!
The title was conquered after the two matches of the 2022 Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships that took place in the city of Kochi, in India.
Japan was victorious against India by 2-0 (11th November) in the first match, and 1-0 (12th November) in the second match.
The top scorer of the competition was Sora Kikushima, Japanese striker, and both Japanese goalkeepers, Tarabayashi Machico and Wachi Riina, were elected as the best ones of the tournament.
India won the fair-play award.
