The Technical Meeting for Blind Football took place with the participation of IBSA Sport Manager Mariano Travaglino, IBSA Football Chairperson Mr. Elias Mastoras, representatives from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the Paris 2024 Local Organizing Committee (LOC), and the eight participating teams. The meeting focused on discussing key details and finalizing preparations for the Blind Football competition at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

“Another milestone has been reached for blind football. 10 days prior the Games, there is no availability of tickets in any blind football session at the official website! It is a joint effort of all stakeholders to break all records of attendance since the beginning of blind football. For those who didn’t get a ticket yet, there might be windows online for the last extra seats. All ticket holders could enjoy experientially our sport in front of the Eiffel Tower with the support of IBSA, French Federation and A ball for all Youthorama. The sports initiation is run for a first time ever in the Paralympic Games”, said Elias Mastoras, IBSA Football Chairperson.
