The 2023 IBSA Blind Football Intercontinental Cup for men’s B1 category will take place in the city of Kochi, India, where the last edition of the IBSA Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships happened.

The United Sports Center Ground will host the competition, which will be between September 23 and October 3.

Ten teams are already qualified from 2022: India (host), Greece, Poland, Egypt, the Ivory Coast, Chile, Peru, South Korea, Malaysia, and Spain.

“We welcome to our IBSA Football family a new edition: the Intercontinental Cup, which is the strongest cup after the World Championship. India has been selected to host the newly established edition, and we are delighted that this year the World Championships will take place in Europe, the Intercontinental in Asia, and the World Grand Prix in America”, expressed Elias Mastoras, IBSA Football Chairperson.
