IBSA Blind Football travels to Armenia this weekend to help boost the country's new blind football programme.

Organised in partnership with the Armenian National Paralympic Committee, the weekend with local players and coaches will include three training sessions in Yerevan.

In addition to the training, IBSA Blind Football officials will meet with the Ministry of Sport, Yerevan City Council and the Football Federation of Armenia to secure support for the sport, and will donate equipment to the progamme.

Armenia first expressed interest in introducing blind football in May 2016, and set up its programme after receiving a donation of balls and eyeshades.

IBSA Blind Football support for development of the game in Armenia is made possible thanks to its Development Project Europe, funded by UEFA.
