Blind Football: Brazil and Argentina debut winning in Santiago 2023
Date: November 19, 2023
Category: Blind football
The Blind Football competition in the Para Pan American Games – Santiago 2023 started with victories for the two South American giants.
Argentina got a sweaty win against the host team, Chile. With a draw at the end of the first half, the current world champions needed their regular hero in the best shape, and he delivered well. Maximiliano Espinillo scored the two goals for the final result in the last five minutes of the match.
Chile, on the other hand, gave an extraordinary reply, especially from its captain, Victor Hugo Silva, a rebel sharing the cause with most of the people on the stands, always very enthusiastically cheering their home team.
In the second match of the day, Nonato scored the only goal with which Brazil defeated Mexico.
On the third and last match of Saturday, Juan David Perez Quintero was the Colombian hero. Like Espinillo, he also scored the two goals with which his team defeated Peru.
