Hosted by the Nicaraguan Paralympic Committee and the Maricela Toleda Organization of the Blind, the Nicaragaun National Blind Chess Championships began today in Managua.

Teams from the following regions are taking part in the championships: JINOTEGA, CHINANDEGA, PUERTO CABEZA, BLUEFIELDS, MANAGUA, CARAZO and MATAGALPA.
