Almada is ready for the 2023 IBSA Judo Grand Prix Portugal

All is set at the Complexo Municipal dos Desportos in the city of Almada for the 2023 IBSA Judo Grand Prix Portugal.

Starting this Monday, the competition is gathering 90 judokas from 21 countries and four continents, with most of them paving their way to Paris 2028. This is the first tournament since the last World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, in November 2022.

Brazil, Canada, Croatia, France, Great Britain, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Korea, Libya, Lithuania, Moldova, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkiye, Ukraine, the USA, and Venezuela are confirmed in the Portuguese tatamis.

The accreditation and eye classifications started on Saturday and continued on Sunday. Check the competition programme (CET, local time -1) as follows:
