IBSA Goalball invites bids and full application documentation from IBSA member federations interested in hosting the 2022 IBSA Goalball World Championships for both men and women.  Requests must come from IBSA member federations in good standing.

The 2022 IBSA Goalball World Championships is a qualifying opportunity for the 2024 Paralympic Games.  The proposed championship dates should fall between 1 May 2022 and 1 December 2022.  

Interested federations should submit a letter of intent to the IBSA Goalball Subcommittee, [email protected], as soon as possible.  The deadline for federations to submit  a complete sanction application (which includes the completed sanction application and payment of the sanction application fee) is 28 June 2019.  Applicants will be notified of their selection status not later than 13 December 2019.
