Last weekend the IBSA Executive Board came together in Copenhagen, Denmark, for its first full meeting following election at the General Assembly in Romania last October.

In addition to dealing with the ordinary business of the federation, including approval of the 2018 budget and ratification of the IBSA Goalball Committee members, the Board held a strategic planning process to shape its future work and direction.

Under the guidance of an experienced facilitator, the Board discussed IBSA’s mission and vision, sports management and structure, and setting organizational priorities in a number of other key areas.

We will be reporting to all members over the next number of months on the various initiatives we are pursuing following our meeting.

The next meeeting of the Board is scheduled for Madrid, Spain, on June 10th and 11th, at the IBSA Blind Football World Championships.
