​After a long first day mixed with games and festivities, day 2 was all about the business of goalball.  By the end of the day, we started to see which teams would be moving towards the next competition round.  A new team that shows great potential is Rwanda.  Although a new team, we believe they will be a team to watch in the future.

At the end of day 2, Algeria men and women remain at the top of their respective pools, with Egypt following a close second. 

Leading the scoring, Rwanda's Vincent Muguisha leads men's scoring with 18 goals,  Algeria's Beheta tops the women with 8 goals.
