2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships video series – 2nd video released

The 2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships will be played in the Pajulahti Sports Institute, Finland, on 18–22 of September.
The organizing body of the event, the Finnish Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities, will publish a six-part “Road to Pajulahti” video series to present goalball as a sport and to follow the home team’s preparations towards the European Championships. There are English subtitles in the videos.
The main character of the video series is Finnish national team player Erkki Miinala, who will present not only his sport and his team but also something about his everyday life as a visually impaired person during the video series.
In the second video we get to visit the Finnish men’s national team’s training camp. Erkki Miinala also tells about the tactical aspects of the game as well as psychological tricks that plays a big part in Miinala’s playing.

A song playing in the background of the video is “Complete Control” performed by Free Heart, a metal band from Kemi, Finland with Erkki Miinala in the drums.
Five of the “Road to Pajulahti” videos will be published prior to the European Championships in September and one after the championships.
The official blog of the 2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships will start on Wednesday 3rd of May. There will be total of 22 writers in a weekly blog.
