African blind football championships kick off today

Six teams have gathered in Douala, Cameroon, to play in the IBSA Blind Football African Championships 2015, making the event the biggest ever involving African nations and demonstrating strong growth in the game in the continent.
Hosts Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Egypt, Mali and reigning African champions Morocco will be looking to wn the title as well as secure the last qualifying slot for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
Cameroon, Ivory Coast and Mali are drawn in group A, while Senegal, Morocco and Egypt make up group B.
The action kicks off this afternoon following the opening ceremony at noon local time.
