This year's IBSA Asian Blind Football Championships will take place in Tokyo, Japan, from August 30th until September 9th.

All IBSA member countries from Asia are invited to send their B1 football teams to take part in the championships, which will be hosted by the Japan Blind Football Association, a member of the Japanese Paralympic Committee.

The championships will be the last opportunity for Asian countries to qualify for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. The top two teams in Tokyo will secure a slot for Brazil. 

The 2015 Asian Championships will be the sixth such event. Previous championships have been held in Vietnam (2005), Korea (2007), Japan (2009 and 2011),and China (2013),
