The Algerian Paralympic Committee has been awarded the rights to host the 2015 IBSA Goalball African Championships.
 
Algiers will be the location of this tournament that will take place between 20 and 30 November, 2015.
 
Both female and male national teams from the Africa region will be invited to participate in this tournament that will also act as the African regional qualifying tournament for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. The top placed female and male nation from this event will be guaranteed qualification to attend the games in Rio.
