Dear IBSA Classifiers:

Thank you all for the very valuable  work that you do for IBSA. I am pleased to have recently been appointed as the IBSA Classification Manager.  I have met and worked with some of you in the past, and I look forward to connecting with and supporting all IBSA classifiers.

Following the adoption of the 2025 IPC Classification Code and the conclusion of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, IBSA seeks to appoint a Head of Classification to serve the IBSA community.

The Head of Classification role description and qualifications are attached. Please note that IBSA now requires applications to senior appointments include a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s national member of IBSA in order to confirm that the person is in good standing with that member.

Applications should be received by email to [email protected]  by October 15, 2024.

A process of shortlisting will then commence, and next steps will be communicated to the candidates who have been short-listed.
