2024 IBSA Men’s Blind Football World Grand Prix in France

The IBSA Football Sport Committee is delighted to announce that the 2024 IBSA Men´s Blind Football World Grand Prix will be played in France.

The tournament will be held in the city of Schiltigheim between May 24th and June 2nd.

This important championship had five successful previous editions:

  • Tokyo 2018 (Argentina champion)
  • Tokyo 2019 (Argentina champion)
  • Tokyo 2021 (Argentina champion)
  • Puebla 2022 (Brazil champion)
  • Sao Paulo 2023 (Brazil champion)

“Paris 2024 will be the tipping point for our sport, hosting 13,000 spectators in every game in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower Blind Football Arena. The ideal country to host this year´s edition of the WGP is France, and we join forces to showcase our sport to French and international spectators, to the media, and to seize the opportunity to promote Blind Football”, said Elias Mastoras (IBSA Football Chairperson).

Competition schedule:
May 24th:  Arrival
May 25th:  Visual Classification
May 26th, 27th,and 28th: Group Stage matches
May 29th: Rest Day
May 30th: Semi-Finals/Placement Matches
May 31st: Rest Day
June 1st: Third Place and Final match
June 2nd: Departure
