Category: Judo

The 2024 IBSA Judo GP Heidelberg, in Germany, that will take place at the SNP Dome between February 17 and 18, has the registration by entry number opened. The deadline for this process is December 1st, and the entry by name ends on December 31st.

This event is one of the last two tournaments in the process of qualification for Paris 2024 and provides double points for the IBSA Judo World Ranking List.

“The IBSA Judo Grand Prix is another step in this direction and a very crucial one on the #Road to Paris. Now it’s time to pursue your dreams! Qualifying for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024 is the ultimate goal of our athletes. I would like to encourage all participants to give their best, to fight fairly, and to live the values of sport”, said Friedhelm Julius Beucher, president of the German Disabled Sports Association and German National Paralympic Committee.

All judokas must possess the IBSA ISAS code. All IBSA athletes must be registered on the IBSA Sport Administration System (ISAS). Entries should be made through the ISAS Online Registration System 60 days before the event here and through the forms for the organising committee. Registration made only in ISAS will not be considered, and registration made only with LOC will not be considered. Both must be completed and submitted within the deadline stipulated by the LOC.

Each IBSA member can inscribe a maximum of two (2) athletes per category for this event.

According to IPC guidelines, athletes from Russia and Belarus can compete in IBSA Judo competitions as neutral para athletes (NPA). The detailed regulation of the athletes’ participation can be found in the appendix of the information document here.
