The official blog of the 2017 IBSA Goalball European Championships has opened on the event website. From now on, there will be one new blog entry from a different writer every Wednesday.

The blog will concentrate on different aspects of goalball as well as the teams and officials getting ready for the European Championships at the Pajulahti Sports Institute, Nastola, Finland, from 18-22 September.

The first blog, titled 'From Rio to Nastola', is written by 23-year-old Finnish goalball player Markus Tihumäki, who made his championship debut at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games. There will be a total of 22 blog entries from 22 different writers in the Pajulahti 2017 blog.

The last text will be published a week after the European Championships. Each text will be published both in English and in Finnish.
