2015 Goalball calendar starting to take shape

With a new year come many new events on the goalball calendar. The calendar is already jammed packed with major tournaments but there are warm up events and other friendly tournaments that are also joining the calendar.
 

Open international goalball tournament

This mid-April tournament is open to eight men’s teams. It is once again a great chance to further support goalball in Africa in a beautiful country. The tournament will be held in Casablanca, Morocco. The dates for the first entry form have been extended to February 15 and first payments are now not due until February 25. Open West Flemish Cup

It is back again, this bi-annual event. The Belgian club of ViGe Noordzee is organizing this event once again in the historical city of Bruges. This time the tournament is also open to both male and female teams. Up to eight men’s teams can participate and six female teams. If you would like to know more on this tournament, click here.

IBSA Goalball referees clinic for level I, II and III

Finally, one for the referees, the first clinic for 2015 has been added to the calendar. This clinic will be joined to the popular Venice tournament this March. People aspiring to be all levels of referees are welcome to show interest in participating in this clinic. To read the full information package, click here.
