The International Paralympic Committee has released the full list of track and field events to be held at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

In Rio there will be 177 athletics medal events – seven more than at London 2012 and split between 95 for men and 82 for women. Visually impaired athletes will compete in a total of 36 events – 19 men’s events and 17 women’s events.
