In its ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability, the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) has completed a competitive selection process for an external auditor and has received approval from the Executive Board to sign a contract with the international auditing firm RSM International Limited.

The selection process was conducted in accordance with the organization’s foundational documents and took into account IBSA’s international status and registration under German jurisdiction. Three leading global auditing firms with experience in multinational structures participated in the process. After a thorough analysis of the proposals, RSM International Limited was deemed the best choice based on their professional expertise, quality of services, understanding of the organization’s specific needs, and the proposed fee.

“The Executive Board’s decision to approve the contract with an external auditor is an important step in strengthening trust in IBSA and enhancing the transparency of our operations,” noted IBSA’s administration.

Once the audit is completed, the results will be discussed at an Executive Board meeting. After the final document is approved, it will be distributed to all IBSA members for review.

The contract will be signed shortly, and preparations for the 2024 financial audit will begin. The IBSA administration will provide full organizational and technical support throughout the process.
