Here is the latest news from the world of IBSA Showdown…
– The IBSA Showdown Committee has the pleasure to inform you that Mr Kang Ho Yong from Korea has been appointed to the committee as the new continental representative for Showdown in Asia.
In the last years Korea has performed a good job in developing showdown and building the necessary know-how to be the reference point for all countries in the continent. Korea now has national referees certified by the committee and has built its own tables with an innovative folding system.
Our friends in Korea are enthusiastic and eager to spread showdown in Asia, and we are sure our sport family will grow.
– The 2019 Pisa Open International Showdown Tournament is about to begin. Togetherness ONLUS is hosting the third edition of the tournament from 8th to 12th May.
Ninety-nine players from 12 countries have signed up to take part in this major showdown event.

The committee would like to remind all prospective hosts bids must include a letter of support from the relevant national member organisation, transport information for teams between the venue and airports, information about the competition facilities and a financial plan.
Interested federations should submit bids using the ‘IBSA competition
