The IBSA Judo Committee has now confirmed the venue and dates for its regional championships in Asia this year.

Following an analysis of the bids received, the committee decided to award the competition to Uzbekistan. It was also decided to open the event to blind and partially sighted judokas from Australasia.

The 2017 IBSA Judo Asian and Oceanian Championships will take place in Tashkent from May 22nd to 29th, and will be hosted by the Uzbekistan National Paralympic Committee.
