Tournaments that have impacted on the rankings this month included the international tournament held in Hungary as well as the Al Ataa Club tournament from Jordan. In the case of the Jordanian tournament, only the matches between national teams influenced the rankings.
Men
There has been one small change in the top five. Spain has moved into fifth position replacing USA who has slipped to 7th. Beyond this, the top 10 nations remain the same.
Looking further down the rankings, the only other notable change is the rise of South Korea to 21 from 46 following their results in Hungary last month.
We can also welcome a new nation to the rankings. Yemen is appearing for the first time at 62. They competed internationally for the first time at the tournament in Jordan.
Women
On the women’s side, Brazil continues their steady rise up the rankings. This month they have moved up to number four with Russia now rounding off the top five. There were no other changes within the top ten.
The women from South Korea also enjoyed a generous jump from 33 to 26.
Otherwise there were no other changes within the female rankings.
