Date: April 17, 2025

Category: General

The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) and the International Blind Football Foundation (IBF Foundation) have signed an agreement to continue their collaboration on broadcasting and sponsorship rights.

IBSA and IBF Foundation signed a new agreement to strengthen their partnership in the development of blind football. The agreement grants IBF Foundation exclusive rights to negotiate broadcasting and sponsorship deals for key IBSA tournaments, including the Blind Football World Championships, as well as the use of the IBSA brand to promote these tournaments.

As part of the agreement, IBF Foundation will also pay royalties to IBSA and grant IBSA access to footage for promotional use.

This agreement is a continuation of the successful collaboration between IBSA and IBF Foundation, which began in 2021, and represents a significant step in advancing blind football on the international stage.

“IBSA is pleased to continue our partnership with IBF Foundation. We are confident that this collaboration will further promote the growth of blind football and help increase its visibility worldwide,” stated a representative of the IBSA Administration.

The agreement comes into effect on April 1, 2025, and will remain in force until March 31, 2029. It is expected to be a key step in IBSA’s mission to spread the sport of blind football to more countries across the globe.
