Anti-doping Rule Violations

Anti-doping Rule Violations

Any anti-doping tests that return a positive result are called Adverse Analytics Findings (AAFs).

These are then assessed before a decision is made on whether they are an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) and therefore if a sanction is required.

As well as testing, ADRVs can also be applied to athletes who consistently miss tests under the Registered Testing Pool or refuse to be tested in or out of competition. ADRVs can also be handed to coaches and team officials.
